What condo cleaning costs in Toronto, and exactly what C$149 buys

The four blocks, with tax

• Condo Clean: C$149 + HST = C$168.37. Up to 120 minutes. Studio or one-bed, one bathroom, maintained.
• 30-Minute Reset: C$55 + HST = C$62.15. 30 minutes, one room, only beside an existing booking in your building.
• Extended Clean: C$179 + HST = C$202.27. Up to 150 minutes. Two bathrooms, more floor, or ordinary buildup.
• Setup / Longer Clean: C$219 + HST = C$247.47. Up to 180 minutes. A first visit, a move, or a baseline before a route.
• Every 2 weeks: C$135, C$160 and C$49 a visit for the first three, about 10% off. The Setup block stays one-time.

What the Toronto market charges

As of September 2026, the public price lists downtown fall into four shapes. Hourly cleaners quote around C$55 to C$60 per cleaner-hour with a three-hour minimum, so a one-bed lands at C$165 to C$180 before tax whether it needs three hours or not. Flat-rate condo cleaners list a one-bedroom from about C$120 to C$190, usually with a shorter checklist at the low end and add-ons for the oven, the fridge and the inside of the windows. Marketplaces start at C$35 to C$40 an hour, and you do the vetting, the scheduling and the follow-up yourself. Franchises quote after an in-home estimate and rarely publish a number.

The time-block model here sits in the middle of that range on price and at the top on clarity: the number you see is the number on the invoice, the list is written down before the visit, and the only thing that changes it is a change you agree to first.

Why a time block instead of an hourly rate

An hourly rate rewards slow work and punishes a tidy home. A block does the opposite. Two hours is reserved for the priorities on the list; if the list is done early, it is done, and if the home needs more than the block, that is said before the visit, not discovered at the end. It also makes the fortnightly price honest: the route day is what saves the travel, and the saving is passed on as a lower per-visit price rather than a coupon.

What changes the price

• A second bathroom adds about forty minutes, which is why two-bath plans move to the Extended Clean.
• Size past about 850 sq ft, or a loft with more surface than floor, does the same.
• Condition: a home that has not been cleaned properly in months is a Setup Clean first, then a Condo Clean every 2 weeks. That is a longer block, not a first-visit surcharge.
• Extras such as inside the oven or fridge are quoted as extras, with their time, and appear on the proposal before you approve it.
• Frequency: every 2 weeks is about 10% less per visit. Monthly is the one-time price.

What you are not paying for

No card details online, ever. Once you approve a written plan, a 25% deposit confirms the time (C$42.09 on a one-time Condo Clean) and the balance is paid after the visit against the same invoice. No cancellation fee is charged automatically. And if something on the agreed scope was missed, say so within 48 hours and it is put right at no charge.

Referrals are the one discount that is not on the price list: C$20 off your next clean and C$20 off the friend’s first, when they mention you on the booking’s details screen.
